Homecoming at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church is the 1st Sunday in May each year.
A former pastor is usually invited to preach. The choir usually sings some of the "old favorites".
After the service, everyone is invited to stay for lunch. Each family brings 2 of their favorite dishes. (meat, vegetable, dessert, salad, etc.)
The church furnishes tea and bread.
We started a tradition several years ago. Quilts (old and new) are displayed on the railings around the gym. If you have a quilt you would like to display for Homecoming, contact Doris Kirkwood or Sarah Warren.
